Why WORRY?

All of our time spent worrying about something is wasted energy.

If it’s something that happened in the PAST, it’s over, it’s done, there’s nothing we can do about it, no way we can change it, so learn from it and let go. There’s no point in worrying about what happened in the past.

If it’s something we are afraid of in the FUTURE, it hasn’t happened yet so there’s nothing we can do about it. Remember, FEAR is nothing more than imagining a negative outcome on a future event. It’s all in our mind, so if we’re going to imagine something, why not imagine something good happening?! There’s no point in worrying about what will happen in the future.

When we truly become PRESENT, we realize we have everything we need right now to be happy.

There are things that we DON’T HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER. The weather, what other people do, the global economy… There’s no amount of us worrying about it that is going to change it, so there’s no point in worrying about what we don’t have control over.

… and then there are the few things we DO HAVE CONTROL OVER. Our thoughts, our actions, our attitudes, our words… If we DO have power and choice then WHY WORRY when we should just do something proactively to change things and create what we want.

So next time you find yourself worrying about the past, the future, or something you don’t have control over, stop yourself and ask WHY WORRY?

And then turn your focus to what you DO want and what you DO have control over, and BE A CONSCIOUS CREATOR of the life you want to live.
